Disclaimer — WEDDZIE
Transparency is really important to me. I want you to always know exactly what WEDDZIE is, how it makes money, and how to think about the content I share. This page covers all of that honestly and clearly.
01

Affiliate & advertising disclosure

The short version: Some links on WEDDZIE are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission — at absolutely no extra cost to you. This is one of the main ways I’m able to keep this blog free and full of helpful content for brides everywhere.

WEDDZIE participates in affiliate marketing programs including, but not limited to, the Amazon Associates Program — an affiliate advertising program that allows sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com — as well as affiliate networks such as AWIN, ShareASale, LTK (LikeToKnowIt), and direct brand partnerships.

I want to be really clear about how this works in practice: I only recommend products and services that I genuinely believe will be useful to someone planning their wedding. My opinions are always my own. Whether or not I earn a commission from a link has zero influence on whether something gets featured on this blog. If I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend who just got engaged, it doesn’t belong here.

In posts that list multiple products, some links may be affiliate links and some may not — the presence or absence of an affiliate link does not reflect my opinion of any product either way.

This blog may also display third-party advertisements served automatically through ad networks such as Google AdSense or Mediavine. These ads are based on page content or your general browsing behavior and do not represent a personal endorsement from WEDDZIE.

In accordance with the FTC’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, I want to be fully transparent: any time I could potentially earn compensation from a recommendation on this blog — whether through an affiliate link, a sponsored post, a gifted product, or any other arrangement — you should treat it as a paid placement, even if a specific post does not include an individual disclosure statement.

If you ever have questions about whether a specific post is sponsored or contains affiliate links, please don’t hesitate to ask me directly at contact.weddzie@gmail.com.

02

Content & accuracy disclaimer

I put real time, research, and care into every post on WEDDZIE. My goal is always to give you accurate, helpful, and genuinely useful content. That said, the wedding industry moves quickly — trends shift, product prices change, vendors come and go, and availability fluctuates — and I’m one person running this blog on my own.

I cannot guarantee that every piece of information on this site is perfectly up to date at all times. Prices mentioned in posts are indicative and subject to change without notice. Product availability, vendor services, and any other time-sensitive details should always be verified directly with the relevant retailer or vendor before you make any decisions or purchases.

All content on WEDDZIE is published in good faith and for general informational and inspirational purposes. While I do my best to fact-check and keep things current, I make no warranties — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any information on this site.

03

No professional advice

Nothing on WEDDZIE should ever be taken as professional legal, financial, medical, or contractual advice. I am a blogger who loves weddings — I am not a lawyer, financial advisor, event planner, or any other kind of licensed professional.

Wedding planning can involve significant financial commitments and legally binding contracts. If you are navigating vendor agreements, wedding insurance, destination wedding legalities, or any situation where the stakes are high, please consult a qualified professional who can advise you based on your specific circumstances.

Any action you take based on content from this blog is entirely at your own discretion. WEDDZIE is not liable for any losses, damages, or outcomes that result from relying on information published here.

05

Images & copyright

All images used on WEDDZIE are either original, licensed for use through stock photography platforms, used with explicit permission from the original creator, or sourced from platforms that permit editorial sharing with proper attribution.

I take copyright seriously and do my best to credit photographers and creators wherever I can. If you are a photographer, vendor, or content creator and you believe an image on this site belongs to you and has been used without proper permission or credit, please contact me immediately at contact.weddzie@gmail.com. I will review the situation promptly and take appropriate action, including removal if necessary.

All original written content on WEDDZIE is my intellectual property. You are welcome to share excerpts with proper credit and a link back to the original post, but please do not republish full articles without permission.

06

No guaranteed results

The tips, guides, checklists, and advice shared on WEDDZIE are based on research, personal experience, and a genuine desire to help. However, every wedding is different — budgets, venues, guest counts, family dynamics, and personal preferences vary enormously from couple to couple.

I cannot guarantee that any specific tip, idea, or recommendation on this blog will work for your wedding. What works beautifully for one bride may not suit another, and outcomes will always depend on your individual circumstances. Use the content here as inspiration and a starting point, and adapt it to fit your unique situation.

Changes to this disclaimer

As WEDDZIE grows — new affiliate partnerships, new content types, new features — this disclaimer may need to be updated to stay accurate and current. When I make changes, I’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of WEDDZIE after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated disclaimer. I’m always committed to being transparent with you about how this blog works.

Something unclear?

Ask me anything.
I’m always honest.

If you have questions about a specific post, a link, a product recommendation, or anything else on this page — I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
